Browskies, you guys like MA XE's for budget subs?

Do you guys think I should get JL's? I keep hearing they're the best? What is it about an L7 I keep hearing something about. Everybody keeps saying a JL L7 is the best.
Kind of out of my range though. :'(

thay work pretty good for lower line subs go for it.

Had four 15's. Ran very well. handled the power very well too. Even ran two of them on a GP3000 for a bit as well.

^^^^^^I did some testing with two 8"xe's(new version). I'm a authorized dealer for MA so I wasn't concerned about blowing them, because I could just send them back under warranty. I was using my stetsom 4k2d(4200 watts rms @12.6 volts @2 ohms). I first built a SQ box for them and played everything from "Jay Z" to "Barry Manilow", and they did pretty good on everything. Next I built a spl enclosure for them in my crx and dropped the amp down to 1 ohm. I slowly started rolling the volume until I got the Term-Lab to a 145.6, but after that, they gave up on me. At the volume when the subs gave up on me, my 4k2d was putting out 2200 watts. So all-in-all I'd say that they are pretty good for the money. Good luck with them.
