Bridging a blade amp.

We have a Blade 4.2 2 channel 2X200W @ 2 ohm amp.

We would like to "bridge" both channels to obtain a mono output of 1X400w

I already know I can successfully split the input signal with rca's & y it to each channel

I'm concerned if I just splice the out + to + & - to - I will blow the amp.

Can anyone tell me if that could cause problems with the amp?

Thanks for you help

That amp does not have the RCA summing feature. You will have to use RCA splitters at the amp. If you already have that, then check the gains.

Bridging the amplifier Mono(LPF)on that sub will work just fine @4ohms

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...
