Bridging 2 amps

Actually you can if you run an additional power line and RCA, but it isn't usually a good idea unless you are closely matching the output power specs. It varies what you should do based on the setup you desire. In this case don't do it unless you have the money to go shopping for another sub.
Even if you do match the power specs of the amps and figure out how to run them on opposite phases and were able to bring the 4 channel down to one, it still would not work since each amp is inherently different. Even two amps with the same specs would not work as the actual paths the signal takes in the amplifiers is different. Only if they were the same internals, in which case they would be the same amp.
