you can bridge an amp, what amp do you have? usually you would hook up the speaker to the positive from one channel, and the negative from the other channel. Check amp specs to see if it is bridgeable.

its a sony xplode 1600 watt class d amp and the speakers are sony xplode 12's the amp is bridgable but the guy at the car audio place said you cant bridge a 4 ohm speakers cause it presents a 2 ohm load or something like that?
