If i have 2 subs wired down to 1 ohm, and are goign to run off of a orion 600d, that makes it 1 ohm bridged right?

I have these specs off of cardomain.com of the orion 600d

Bridged RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 400W x 1 @ 2 Ohms

does that mean it wouldnt be able to handle the 1ohm bridged, and I should wire them to 4 ohm to get the 400w x1 @ 2?

I'm more of an SQL guy :]

when I get a new car with better mounting depth, and i get germs or pro60's and stick 150-200 rms on them.. THEN ill go to a 1200d

and yes, its 1 ohm stable. I just wasnt sure if it would take 2 subs at 1 ohm.

thanks for the response

you could put as many woofers on that amp! if they come up to a 1 ohm load it would just be the same as one woofer at 1 ohm except the power gets spread out with the more you put on it

It is a MONO amplifier, one channel, therefore it cannot be bridged.

Most two channel amplifiers can be bridged, giving power into one channel. Most 4channel amplifiers can be bridged, giving power into two channels.
