After reading this thread I would say the best bet is it send it in to Sundown and have them take a look at it. I would bet money the guy who sold it to you knew what was wrong with it, I mean c'mon that's just not something that "happens" during a transit in shipping.

hey man, what part of central fla are you in? iam in tampa and would like to check out the weard sub out in person. i wonder if when the coil was wound, someone for got to seperate the 2. and if you decide to get ride of them i may want 1.-vic

i live near Apopka, about 1.5hours from you in Tampa. no problem if you'd like to check it out if you were in this area. but im going to be acting on this fast and either returning them to the seller, or selling them.

let me know if you want 1 or both, re-cones are pretty cheap but i cant do it myself.

the 1508 is a great choice. i sold the bronco that i had mine in and now its in the 01 s-10 i bought. got a 138.7 on a friends term lab on the dash sealed, and 139.2 with both windows open half way with 40 hz burps. iam getting ready to put a 2510 in the s-10 so may have one up for sale.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

if it were, thats cool and all as long as it can take 1500w, and i can still wire it with the other one. but that doesnt seem to be the case so far

i got my alpha 18 it was .6db louder than my hdc318 and peaked 2hz lower. i would just make sure its under 260 square inches so u can still compete in featherweight
