yeah dude, you should DEFINATLY turn that down. your sending a clipped signal to the subs for sure with that all the way up.
you smell band-aids? if so it's your coils
That put alot of things in perspective for me lol thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifIf it's just excess glue burning it doesn't matter if he turns it down for now and up later. Once the excess is gone it should stop. If he's going over that temp and actually melting coils and actual adhesives, then he's in trouble regardless. Anyway thermal powerhandling on a sub doesn't change much with box size, except for impedence differences, but that's usually minor in the grand scheme of things in a daily driver. Turn you bass boost down, your probably clipping your amp, which is why the subs stink, you giving them way more than the 1200 watts your amp can put out cleanly.
Alright thanks for all the help guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifWhen you set your gains make sure your bass knob is at 100%. It's for turning down the bass not making it louder.
