Ppi 900.4 rear channels bridged at 2 ohms puts out pretty significant power and those jbl 608s (or even p660c) run at 2 ohm

I wouldn't bridge it at 2. I'd get a d2 and run it at 4. No point in the added stress for a gain of -- maybe nothing in power.

Not finding a 330. Found a 33. $100 at sonic. ~$90 a few other places.
Just doing the HU for now is a good idea. The stock speakers aren't terrible.

Yeah it's the 33mbs, my bad and also for citing 2 ohm on the amp bridge specs. Also your daughter may prefer a 2din with an easy touch screen interface. Pioneer AVH-X3800BHS perhaps?

That's not even an attempt at low cost. That's just buying nice gear.

I would not recommend Rockville Audio amps, I had two and one of the smoked on me after 2 months. A friend just had one die less than a year old. As for their subs and speakers, i do not know the quality.

EDIT: Massive audio tko12s are pretty great for the price ($75-85). and the CAB1600.1 is probably too much power, but its good too.
