You can tune to whatever you want to. Just remember, tuning will play a part in your response range. You will lose 40hz+ output as you continue to go further below 35hz.

As stated above, the lower you go, you will loose output on the higher frequency, it's all a compromise.
Meh, the loss is limited. Don't scare the guy into not tuning low, tuning low is awesome. Just has to be done right.

Haha, not trying to scare him off, and yes if tuning low is done correctly it would be minimal, but he is a starter and not a pro like you so he would not know the tricks like you ...lol...

Op, this guy ^ can hook you up with a good design, and trust me it's worth every cent to get a design rather than have to go through the whole walk around.

I wasn't trying to scare him, but there's another option to build big and tune higher. You don't lose low end this way and still have phenomenal 40hz+. There is a trade off either direction, but we probably shouldn't jump into that discussion until the guy is more versed.

I have several people that do builds on the side not on a pro level but are pretty good and I like the satisfaction of doing my own prodjects but if i could get a kick *** design it would be worth it. I dont really have the time to build anything with my work schedule.
