box too big?

Received a JL 10w0v4 and a atrend under seat box for my GMC sierra. JLs site recommends .65cuft for the sub and the box is .93cuft. Is this box too big that I should adjust it? Is there a tolerance? If so what is it? Oh...no ports in the box.

it will be better off. JL always list a box that's to small. It's marketing to get sales. A 10 will do well in 1-1.25 cubes sealed
