Box to big?

i built a box that takes up my WHOLE trunk. its custom shaped to fit with trunk. thiers cpl inches in front of sub, but the height and width is flush with trunk. and i was wondering if it was going to block most of the bass from getting in to car? i havent installed my subs yet but i just wanna know what im going to expect from it.. am i going to be disapointed? or would it have been alot louder if id of made a smaller box?
