Box size (sealed) for 2 rl-P 12's?

Using a Sundown 1500D, so each sub getting about 800 watts or so. SS website says between .85 and 2.0cf per sub with 1.35 being optimal.

What will change if I went bigger or smaller than than the 1.35cf size?

I want some serious punch from the box. Like I am being hit in the chest with a baseball bat.

This will be in a trunk of a Grand Prix if that matters.

if you want punch why not go ported? 1.75^3 each ported would do...

the smaller the box, the more upper end output and 'tightness' and 'punch'

the bigger the box, the more lower end output, as in the 20-40hz range, the low car shaking bass

Ahhh. So maybe go 1cf per sub?

1.35 should be fine, try it out.

You'll have that "punch" along with the low end.
