Box size for Avalanche 15", sealed?

I'm getting my reconed AA Avalanche 15" in a few days. I want to run it in a sealed box and will be pushing it with around 1300 watts RMS.

Can someone help me out with the box size and dimensions of a sealed box I should build for this?

2 cubes would be fine...I dont think it would like that power very much though....

2.4 cubic feet will give you an F3 of 40hz and a Qtc of .702

I would say between 2-2.5 cube, I ran 1400wrms to mine in 3.1 cube tuned to 27Hz and it took it like a champ, didnt stress it at all. If your careful about it and know what your doing it can handle tons of power. yeah, i think all AA subs are highly underrated. i am doing 400+ to each of my assassin 12's in a ported box and they are fine. i've even done 600+ to them without a problem!!!

im thinkin of goin avalache also, im trying to work something into my spare tire well, 18" sealed or 15" ported with aero ports?

and by the way how do they perform sealed ?

i would recommend ported over sealed. i had mine ported in a front firing, trunk sealed from cabin setup in a 95 sentra with a 3.5@28hz enclosure and it is till louder than it a a hatchback 03 celica with a ~2.5 cube sealed enclosure. that why i'm in the process of building a 3.5 cube ported fiberglass enclosure. all i have to do know is actually order the aeroports and install the aeroports (a lil harder than it seems since the enclosure was originally designed to be sealed but i didn't like the output since i was used to it ported so i made the box box a cube bigger and now i have to figure out a way to externally mount the aeroports then create something out of mdf/fiberglass to make it look good)
