Box size and port area for (4) 12"s

I've never built a box this big before, and i want to do it right. IA's sight says that the average for 1 DP is 2.5 cubes w/ 35 inches. So do you think I should go for 10^3 and 140 inches of port? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I was thinking a little more pot area, closer to 200 inches. but i don't know how much space i've got. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif I think my max below the window line is about 10.5 without ANY displacements, so after drivers i'll already be down to about 9.5...suggestions?

I think 9-10ish cubes with 140-150ish sq inches of port area would be pretty darn good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And even down to 8 cubes you'd be just fine...so dont sweat that IMO

i think i can squeeze about 8.5 net out of it. i'm running the same type of box that hunter is doing in his mazda. this will come a lot later mind you, i need to do a lot of work to that truck. dyno first, but i've gotta get those other two DP's while they're on sale
