box recommendations for a DC LVL4 15"

What have you guys found to be the best box size (simple L-port) for the sub in title? How much port area...also if u have box plans already for this sub that would be greatly appreciated.

i got my level 4 15" in a box that is 38" wide, 22" tall, 9.5" deep with a 6" aero port 17" long. slams!!

im gonna go get my max dimensions now....and wat do you guys think of mounting my amps on the box? I kno alot dont like it and dont recommend it but im kinda tight on space as its goin in a Ranger....also thinking i may mount them under the false floor. but am worried about cooling.

My only advice on this particular sub is to avoid trying to fit it into the trunk of a Lincoln LS.

If you need to mount you amps to your box go to SDS or SS and get the CLD/Damping tiles and put those in between.

got my dimensions that would be optimal for me with the space i have now if someone could come up with a box.

width is pretty max of wat i can do = 38"

height (would like to stay around this but can go shorter or a LITTLE taller) = 17"

and length is whatever really...just nothing over 15 if at all possible

Just tune somewhere between 30-35Hz and make sure you have enough port area. Any box between 3.5-4.5 cubes is good from what Ive read on them.

For a level 4 15? Yea right. Maybe an XL, but not a base Level 4.

with rated power being given it only needs 4 cubes after port.
