Box Recommendations for 2 hdc318s

I'm looking for some input on a box for 2 18" HDC3s in an suv. I have a few questions:

---I've been taking measurements and I can fit in an 11ft^3 box in my car after port, subs, and bracing.I've searched some threads and people seem to recommend anywhere from 5-6.5 ft^3 for 1 18". So my box would give each sub 5.5 cubes net (tuned to 38). Would that be enough?

---I'm not sure if im going to have to give up more for sub displacement/bracing. for the bracing i was planning on using 6 1in wide dowels (2 from top to bottom, 2 from side to side, 2 from front to back). Would that be enough bracing?

---Does anyone know the displacement of an 18" HDC3, i factored in .5ft^3 for both, but i'm thinking it might be closer to .7?

---Last, these measurements are with sub up port back , would 3 inches from the hatch door be enough?

I'm really hoping i can fit in 2 18s but i might have to drop down to 15s depending on the answers to these questions.

would it be alright in 12cf net tuned to 38hz? 11ft^3 is already pushing it (its slightly above window line taking up the whole trunk area. This is also with 3 6" aeros.
