Box Questions??

ok...some box builders are always talkin about stuff they can do to the box to make them get higher SPL scores...like doin stuff to the interior of the enclosure...i was wondering if anyone would like to fill me in on some of these ideas..

I would imagine a coat or two of resin would stiffen up MDF quite nicely...thereby reducing vibrations and possibly giving you a decimal point or two.
