Box Plans

I was wondering if I could get some help w/ box plans. I want to build my 1st ported box, for 2 15" Orion H2's. I need about 5.5 cubes (including sub displacement) tuned to 35 hz. If someone could point me in the right direction for these dimensions, I would appreciate it.

Anyone? I'm new to this and have all the tools and mechanical experience to do this, just have no idea how to come up with the dimensions?

I was thinking slot ported? Unless there are benefits of one over the other...but I guess ultimately what would sound best.

Ok so far i have each sub wants 2.5 cubes and each sub displaces .48 cubes so we are at 5 cubes net. and so far 5.96 cubes before ports. to tune that 5 cubes to 35Hz it would be best to use (3) 4in aero ports that are 14.66in long each. Each port displaces .1 cubes. So with that you are at 6.26 Cubes total. If you measure your trunk i can get some specs make up for you...

Ok, aero ports it is. By the way the specs for these subs are 2.25 cubes per sub, that's how I came up with 5.5 (5.46 to be exact). Well for some insight (can't measure right now) my current sealed box is at about 5.5 cubes net, 36 x 17 x 17 and I have PLENTY of room...it actually slides around my trunk...I need to learn how to secure my next one.

sure i will help you....looks like today is my day for helping with box specs lol...what car? i need as much info as possible...

lol haha this is the second box today i have done....

ok so 2.25 per sub is 4.5 net. to tune that 4.5 cubes to 35Hz the best way would be (4) 3inch aero ports at 12.63in long each. So 4.5 (air space) + (.48x2=).96 + .2 (all 4 of the ports) = 5.66 Gross box size....

Sound Good? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yes, I have the dual 2 ohm subs. So how can I calculate the panel dimensions? Is 3/4 mdf ok for 2500-3500 watts? Also, where would I place the ports?
