Box Plans

3/4th is good but you are going to need some bracing...

for bracing i would use 1.25 in wood poles. so to figure out the displacement for the bracing you would use. 1.25/2 = the radius = .625 and then take that and square it.625^2 = .39 then take the .39 and multiply it by pi (3.14) = 1.22656 then take 1.22...and multiply it by the length of the area you are bracing....once you get that number divide it by 1728 (changes it into cubic feet)...

Wow that's getting pretty complicated. So, as for the ports, would the best location be between the subs, or does it matter?

i dont think it matter too much as long as your not too close to the sub or a wall or your box. if the above is too much for you then just tell me the outer specs of your box and i will figure the rest out...

Is bracing really necessary or more of a precaution? I've figured that (outer dimensions) with 3/4 mdf of 45 x 18 x 15.2 would give me 5.69 cubes gross...and would be good depth and area to have the subs and ports spaced out enough from each other if that makes sense.

Sounds good. Hey thanks a lot for all your help man, I really appreciate it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif .
