Im needing a box for my 15in XXX but I don't know what plan to use in moe lester's sticky. Now on to the dimensions, my trunk is pretty small and i've come to the conclusion that I cannot fit a 4 cu ft 27hz box that re recommends in my trunk without building it in there and thats something I cannot do. Im working with rougly 18in deep, 16in high, and 32in wide, I can stretch the deepness and hight by a little.. not too much maybe a half inch. My point is I need a ported enclosure that would make this XXX sound good, i've heard stories of XXX's sounding like shit with the wrong box. If anyone can design me a enclosure that would make my XXX pound with the above dimensions i'll send you a few bucks via paypal if you'd like. I need a image like the one's that are in moe lester's post, that has the bird's eye view side view, etc with the dimensions of the sheets of wood that need to be cut since im gonna have the cutting be done at a lumber yard since I do not have a table saw to cut the wood.

btw: already tryed pm'ing moe lester and trying to contact him via aim but hes not online and pm box is full.

thx in advance. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Go with 3.25^ft net internal volume. Use the exterior dimensions you posted and use a large vent area with a healthy length to get the retarded low tuning you were talking about. @ 3.25^ft, you could go with a vent of 40sq" and make it about 25" long. If you wanted to tune lower, you can simply put a block of seat cushion foam in the port, taking up 1/3 or 1/2 of the bottom of the port. That should help reproduce whale farts if you want to impress a fat chick.

the width depends on the height. however tall you can make the box, take out the thickness of the top and bottom of the box and you have net internal height, divide 40 by that height and it'll spit out the width it would take to make a 40sq" vent.
