box plans, can someone please check this...

this is the top view for two AW1206T Audiobans. going for 2.5 cu. ft. / port 4x7.25 per sub...

the only thing i didnt quite understand was the port depth... how far should the walls of the ports go into the box. i guessed it would be the same width as the port opening on the outside. i also rounded off a couple numbers, the box should be just under 5 cu ft. ie 4.9 sumthin.. thats all my trunk will allow... would this work ok?? im shooting for about 36hz.. any suggestions would be great..

the only reason i went with this style vs. the generic (subs right next to each other with the port to the side) was the structural integrety... i figured this would have more support in the middle than the other setup. but am i losing sound quality??

I got the same problem with calculation from rouund port depth to slot. with the same sub.

How ever wide your port is, it should be that wide from the back wall. You'll have to bend your port, L-shaped and add the end correction.

soooo sumthin like the red... how about another one like the blue?? or is that too much. thats starting to rob my airspace isnt it?? is that even the correct way to do it??

your port is 4.85" wide. So it needs to be 4.85" parallel from the wall, not 2.425". Keep it even, or it won't act right.

so i dont combine the two?? see the 2.425x12 is the port size for one sub.... i made two seperate box designs an put em togethor (read it in one of george's post)

in that case should i make the center channel 2.425 wide??

n/m, sorry. you got it. I forgot that they were using there own port in the back. Looks good.
