what would the subs sound like if i painted the box with a dynamat spray. it dries and looks sort of like rhyno lining.

It would give it a rugged look....whats it going into?

Are you talking about the inside or outside of box?

its going into my s10. im putting two 12 inch strokers in it. and im painting the outside.

it wouldnt have any effect on sound if painted the outside. I've seen the inside done, but dont know the benefit of that.

It wouldnt change the sound. If anything if would help the box stay more rigid.

How much does the spray cost? and what do you use to spray it?

What you do on the outside of the box is purely for aesthetics.

the paint cans are only 5 or 10 bucks apiece. im painting it just because its going to take abuse and carpet would get messed up. the spray dries like a rubber coating and i think it wouls be more durable.
