Box of metal.Need help deciding.

I have some extra sheet metal laying around,I'm pretty sure its 3/16 but thats not too important.I've seen this discussion on here before but can't find it anywhere now.I have a full shop with a few Miller welders,acetylene torches,plasma cutters,grinders,etc.What I'm asking here is can I make a box for two d4 Kicker Comp 12s out of this sheet metal.If so should I put like dynamat on the inside or not? Another question I have is I would like to have a ported box but would this effect the resonance of a metal box at all? Anyone with general knowledge of this or who has experience in this process I would like to hear from you.Thanks in advance.

it wont sound good man. just cut it up and make some buss bars or distro blocks for us?????

i have talked with some guys that have done this, and it works, my own box for my 3510e is amlost finished, i have seen some aluboxes too in sq comps,

Thanks for the input guys.That box looks killer.That's what I'm going for only bigger.Tell me how it sounds when it's done man.
