box in a 4runner

the amps will be kicker kx400.1 (480 watts) and a kicker 350.4 for speakers

the box will be 3 seperate parts: 2 boxes actually contain the subs. 4 10" JL w0 9 ohm svc (all will be wired down to 2 ohms) the sub boxes will be right over the wheel wells in the rear. the center box will house the amps. going to recess them and plexiglass over them, then mount fans for them. it wont actually be a box, as there will be no back. the seats will be able to fold down to reveal inside in case i need to make any wiring modifications.

subs work best at .5-.9 cubic feet, so the individual boxes will be around 12"x12"x7" inside.

the top picture is a birds eye view of the box. the bottom right picture is a side view of the box.

i want tighter bass, not as sloppy. plus i want something that will look good as well as sound good... my current sub/box is just nasty looking

are the subs facing rear or facing up b/c they are in two dif. directions in each pic.

u should throw a back on the amp rack just to hide all the wires so u can fold ur seat down and not see them

yeah i wouldnt wat someone in my back seat able to do whatever they want to my amps/wiring.
