Box Ideas For MJ18's..POLL

Well I'm starting to plan out my box for my MJ18's(pair) in my '04 Dodge 1500 4-door. I'm wanting to use it for some recreational competing, nothing serious though. I'll have a Solid Audio F2500D(avatar) running at 2ohms for power.

I'm wanting to keep the box below the window line so I can stay in stock class when I do compete, so how do you guys think I should orient my sub and port placement? I found out in previous installs that sub and port up causes quite a bit of cancellation unless I have the windows cracked a few inches...

If any of you have some experience with big ported boxes in trucks, please contribute.

Yeah, I was debating between that and subs forward, port side. I remember someone on here having good results with that alignment in a single cab...
