Box idea

I was wondering if anyone has done a center console encloser. I have a 99 dodge ram extended cab and got the middle section out and thinking about installing a 10" and it would allow me more cab space, more cu. ft. just wondering how it would sound and which way to mount the sub and port (i.e. both forward, both back, one forward and the other back).
