box help!!!

im designing a box for a 15. 7 cubes at 18 Hz (not my box). when i enter the info into an online calculator it says over 100 inches of slot port at 6 in wide port and 16 in tall. is this right?

should the length never exceed the area? im a lil confused what that has to do with the port length.

this guy does not know that much, he does not know how much power. the online thing said 106 in port lenth...how did you get 100? im still learning how to design correctly. thanks for the help guys...

i totaly agree with you, i have read every sticky and forum and post i could find but there were no solid equations to help me threw it and the people i have asked to teach me said its too hard to teach so i have been left scraping for myself...

depending on the displacement its going to be between 102 and 106.

anthing between that is going to keep it at 18 htz.. but you might be at 18.2 or 18.5.

at port lengths like that it wont be the end of the world.

if you are going to use the online calc for your numbers then go wit that. 106 would work.
