Hey guys. i'm building a sealed box. my question is how do you guys seal your insides. do you use jsut the glue or sealant? also and i hope i dont get flamed for this question. on the inside fo teh box, is it worth it to put that cotton or what ever it is to help sound. seen it on crutchfield for example, or do you use egg crate foam, OR...lol do you leave it empty ?

thanks guys.

I leave my boxes empty- but fiberfill helps. YOu can get it at wal-mart in t fabric section.

If you make accurate cuts, you shoud not need to seal the inside of the box.

But, if you are like me, liquid nails or silicone caulk works. For small imperfections,Wood glue fits the bill.

thank you, thank you for the input. more or less i was curious. thanks..lol

Yah, all it takes is a nudge.

I would stay away from eggcrate foam. It seems to me that it just takes upspace inside the box since those little cells hold air *kina*. It does a helluva job for killing resonance though.
