Box help in Dodge Charger with 9515. EXPERTS ONLY

Im building a new box atm i do a 146.1 at 45hz w/ 3 cubes tuned to 34hz...

My next box is gonna be 4-4.5, should i fire rear or seal the trunk off?

Please only people who do high 40s-50s, no one who has done less than me comment lol.

Also with these dimensions

30w 16h 24d would 4 4" aeros make tuning 40hz and would plugging one drop it to 35.

you are right. plugging 1 out of 4 will lower your tuning to around 34-35. seal the trunk.

ah ok thanks man! buddy of mine came up with calculations told me the tuning just wanted to make sure...

Seal the trunk you say, ive heard people tend to lose low end when doing this.

i guess it depends on the vehicle. i helped a buddy with his 2 eclipse 12's in an old cadillac and sealing the trunk sounded louder. sounding louder doesn't mean he'd meter higher though, so take that with a grain of salt.

so... can i flip the box around and see how it does and then if i like it i can seal it off? or would i get different results.

you may get an idea. too many factors arise to really tell what the difference will be. unless someone here has done both in that exact car. i've never even sat in a charger, so my familiarity with your cabin is zero.

only way to find out is test both ways. In my car rear firing "seems" louder and front firing sounds a little better...
