What should i tune my ported box at for my L7's?

i actually love the way the 12's sound tuned high.......

35-38hz wont hit the lows that well, but 12" L7's DOMINATE the higher freq's, unlike their larger bretheren.

and i'm gonna get flamed for this, but 12" L7's actually play pretty nice with smaller prefabbed enclosures.

As long as they have 2.5 cubes or more each, they'll be happy with even higher tuning than that, just don't expect really deep bass.

Like I said in the other thread, I went with 6 cubes @ 32hz

Will agree with heyman421 about the smaller enclosures

I got mine at 3.2 cubes and tuned between 38 - 40

haha i too am cursed with a pre-fab, it totally dominates 35-45 with a slight rolloff past 50 hz, but then again its tuned to 30 hz

my next box choice will be a 6 cubes tuned to 38 hz
