Haha, my bad for not seeing that you're from Croatia. Here is the definition for taper:i know its a T-line just dont know the expression in english for the tunnel/port what ever u call it...every tline design i saw b4 didnt have 'irregularities' in teh tunnel area

That should make things a little more clear. Transmission line enclosures will often have a tapered or expanding line to help control upper order harmonics and standing waves in the higher frequencies. This will have an effect on output but will clean up the sound some. I don't really see a need for a sub t-line but it's not really going to hurt it. It's pretty standard when doing full range drivers though.
