box for re xxx 15

Ok, right now i have a 4.5 @ 35 Hz box (Mor Lester design) and I have one of my mofo's in it (sounds like crap). I have a 15 XXX on the way. Whats the best box for one, ported, size does not matter. I want this box for SPL. Any help would be cool thanks, Andrew

ok cool, but by having the tuning Hz up at 35 will i loose the ability to get an overall flat response? because with the mofo 15 i have in there now i have noticed that i am not able to hit the high notes as well any more. before i had it in a 3.4 cubes @ 40Hz. thanks, andrew

Don't base any notes you can hit on a mofo; I hear mofos are very loud, but very awful sounding.

its true, they are loud but sound like ***, thats why i got the 15 xxx, i heard they are very loud and sound good while getting loud.

The XXX will have good SQ in the box you have. It will be loud as well. I'm pretty much running the same box as you can see. Also, you will need a stronger amp than the JL btw.
