The Drivers front pannel is flush to the sidewall of the port. It looks like you cutt out the port opening, leaving only 3/4" of wood on 3 sides. I have done this before but it was hard to keep the cuts straight and still keep the 3/4" gap.nice.. I have tried to cut the face with a 3/4 edge like that for the port but it is usually not straight. I did you do yours>

Indeed.thats not the whole port opening, just like a hole there. he will use a flush trime to get it perfect.
