Box for 4 15" type-R's

I was thinking about getting 4 15" type-Rs and putting them in my 99 dodge ex-cab. but I want to keep the box low in highth. I can get a box 11.8 cu ft with 154 cu. in. of port. Would that do ok? I see a lot of people putting them in bigger boxes that alpine suggests and with this set-up it would be just under 3 cu. ft each wich Alpine recomends 2.25 after all displacement. What do you guys think?
