box for 2 XXX15's

Hi guys,

At this moment i have a single XXX15 and 1600rms

i have a trunkcar and did 141.4dB in 4cuft box tuned 38hz

now, in our country we have a special class called berline-sedan.

In this class there are no limits of amps and subs cause there or not

much competitors,

so i wanna have a better score to come closer to them :readytogo

butt what should i try?

try a single XXX15 + 2400 rms in 7 cuft and big port or

try 2 XXX15's + 2400rms each butt the max i can give is 8cuft for both //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

some people say that a single sub in big box and big port will do better

then 2 subs in smaller box,

butt what if i have double power for the 2 subs

btw nr 1 @ finals did 151.7db with a single DD9515 and 2 bd 1500's i think

and nr 2 @ finals did 150.?db with 2 L7 15's ans 4 bd 1500's

I would go with the pair of 15's the 8cu' box. Try to go with the largest port opening you can. I'd tune it somewhere around 38-40Hz so it would peak in the mid 50's.

oke next year i'm gonna buy another 2 amps and second XXX15,

butt my car peaked somewhere @ 48 hz so i bettter tune it 38,40hz?

mmm biggest port area,butt that wil make my box smaller?

Yeah, somewheer in there.

Just make the box bigger to accommadate a larger port....if you can.
