I believe so. You'll have more output because you'll have more cone area and less power compression as well. I assume you'd be running the amp at 2ohms to a single 12"er, which would be more power than you'd really need for a single 12" SDC. Use the amp at 1ohm and you have more power overall, more cone area, and better use of that power by having less power available per woofer, while still being able to push them hard.

They're rated at 600, but can handle 800-1000...I wouldn't go more than that for daily as I think you just hit diminishing returns after that point.

Box looks good. I've got my SDC's on about 800 a piece, seems perfect for them.

It should work fine. I'd personally go a little bigger and tune a little lower, but I like the lows to be more present. My personal choice would be 2.25ft^3 at 32-33hz.
