box for 2 SDC2.5-12

I plan on running 2 of those in a ext cab s10, off a audiopipe 1800d, will this box work well or is it to big for the subs?

be sure to add bracing and maybe even consider a double baffle. But to answer your question yes.

its off the free box plans on forum, but thats not gonna work just remeasured and ill be all the way up with no leg room

Those specs should work fine, but you'll want something not so deep(assuming you're not a midget). With a 12" sub you can fire up and make it 13" deep. Or you can fire subs forward and port up and go even shallower if you really need leg room. What kind of dimensions do you have to work with?

Definitely not enough room, that's just barely over 3.5ft^3 before sub and port displacements. You should be able to fit a much wider box, or do you have stuff occupying that extra space?

well, the bench seats on the side, even when folded up take a couple inches on each side, Imageshack - 2cubes35hz3125sqin5bc.png maybe i will just go with one?

You can get 2.5ft^3 with a 34hz tuning after all displacements.

I believe so. You'll have more output because you'll have more cone area and less power compression as well. I assume you'd be running the amp at 2ohms to a single 12"er, which would be more power than you'd really need for a single 12" SDC. Use the amp at 1ohm and you have more power overall, more cone area, and better use of that power by having less power available per woofer, while still being able to push them hard.

very true...You should have a good deal more 36" wide though. I talked to my friend, but he removed the lower half of his plastics for enclosure space. He runs 3 15s forward and port up.
