box for 2 IA 187s...

i just got my 187s in today and im constructing a box tomorrow. max dimensions i have to work with are 14x33x20. can someone help me with the port? on another forum i was told to make a 12.5 x 5.5 x 8'' deep port. does this seem too big? thanks!

port sounds right to me, i was told by nick to do 120 sq inches for 4 10's. this was for pure spl though.

wow, whatever works for ya bud. no one really knows diddly till they put it on a meter. i think around 60 would be a good place to start though.

yea the final outside dimensions are 14x33x20...i dont have too much room in the trunk. so will the 12.5 x 5.5 x 8 port be sufficient?
