Box for 2 15"

Ok guys just a curious question really...

Im doing a ported box, im was wondering if i can say make 2 portholes and place both subs into same box, if that'll work - or if thats gonna cause damage...

Or do i have to build the one big box and devide it down the center and make it 2 seperate chambers with there own portholes...???

Also whats the best size box "measurement wise" for 15"
