Looking to build a box for my 15" Oz matrix elite. It's the old version. I was wondering how low should I tune the box. Right now it's in a 3.5 cube boxed tuned at 34-35 hz. I can't really make the box any bigger. I am trying to make the sub hit the lows. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

build one tuned to

i have a 12" RE HC in 3.6@29, hits the lows pretty dam good... kept knocking my rear view mirror off

mirrors now in my trunk and will stay in my trunk

You think I'll need a bigger box since it's a 15? I really don't want to go bigger. Will it sound coo in a 3.5 cube box?

do you have the exact model number

if i can get the ts parameters for it, i can run it thru Bass Box Pro and post some graphs

its not this, is it... OZ-MPWR15

Fs = 30.37 Hz

Qms = 6.567

Vas = 84.67 liters

Mms = 333.3 g

Xmax = 30 mm

Sd = 856 sq.cm

Qes = 0.806

Re = 2.22 ohms

Z = 2 ohms

Qts = 0.718

I am pretty sure mine was made before 2000. Might have the same specs as the newer version but I doubt it. My voicecoils are very different from the new ones.
yeah different coils will screw it all up

maybe call Oz and tell em your story and see what they say

they're very helpful
