Hi,Could someone post a design for a ported box for a 10" sub please...just a basic generic design would be great...its an older Kenwood sub I dont have the specs for so anything would be great...thank you

there is no generic design other than having A port....go buy one.

I'm sorry if that was a stupid request...I was just looking for a rough estimate...a ballpark design...I'm old I misread the help part on the forum name.

I was just letting you know that there is no general design...you can make just about anything, but without specs on the driver it is a shot in the dark......I could throw out numbers all day and none of them would mean a thing.

A prefab from one place would be one size with some tuning, and a prefab from another store would be something completely different.

I'm sorry I wasn't trying to say you were not helpful....I just don't know the specs...It's just Kenwood 10" sub with a large raised DB+ in the center...I want to make a box for it for my Grandson...I'm good at woodworking just not car audio....sorry if I came across as an old fart.....even though I am

would you happen to have a picture of the sub and/or any model numbers on the magnet?

I looked and can't find any other numbers...just a 10" sub with a large DB+ raised in the middle...I will look to see if I can find a picture....I dont mean to waste your time honestly....once in awhile its good to be your Grandsons hero.

kenwood recommends for the 10"

no less than .75ft^3 tuned low 40's

1ft^3 tuned mid 40's

no more than 1.5ft^3 tune high 40's

Try messing around in the RE Audio box builder, im sure you'd get some ideas.
