I think I pretty much got the basics for car audio down except box building.

I have a 2.5 cubic foot box that my DD is in now, but it is tuned to 45 hertz and i want deeper bass.

I want my new box to be tuned anywhere from 32-35 hertz, but I have no idea on how to design a box for this. I read the first 10 pages on this part of the forum, but I still have no idea.

If anyone could help, Please do.

Thanks guys for your replies.

My sub is the "e" series.

I emailed DD about my box and this is what they told me.

2.5 cuft, 30 sqin of vent area, 18 inches deep. add power and have fun.

/tek

I dont understand the whole cubic foot thing and the sqin of vent area.

I have a 1995 grand prix se. So space isnt really an issue.

Thanks again

I dont even want to know how much he would probably charge for a box.

I think I would rather be dissappointed with my sub (I am now) then go and spend that kind of money.
