Box Design Question

i just bought a 2005 subaru legacy gt, i installed mt RE sx in it but there is a problem. My seat don't fold all the way down just a small section in the middle. This really bogged down the sub. I am going to buy an FI BL and i need to make a box.

Can i fire the port through the seat toward the cabin and the sub out toward the tail. will that solve the loss of power and still have descent sq
