Box design for 2 JL's

I was planning on building one of my friends a box for his two 12" JL W1's. I was thinking 34~35hz in a 3.5cubic foot enclosure with 60sq inches of port area. He want this to be loud and hit hard, but still maintain some sort of sound quality.
