the only way you'll get 15s in your truck is faced forward .you need to make a 4" false floor for the box to sit on .so 17 x17x 48 thats 8.02 cubic ft before displacement.port all the way to the left side 4" x 15.5 x 24. start at 24" length for the port and then work it from there til you get the freq you want.or you could also try some aeros too thats what i use easier to tune the box too

I agree with lows. Best cabin gain that way I believe.

trust me i've tried every configuration you could think of,been working on mine for over 5 years now,and so far i've got the loudest truck in the us with 2 batteries,2 12s under the window line and no cut thru.152.8 so far and climbing

Good to hear.

I always recommend port to passenger side and subs up. Gives best room for reflection/gain in trucks when possible.

yes and s10s are very hard to get loud ,i was told i would never see 150.but its' been 10 boxes later and guess what

It's a bit tricky to get S-10's loud as said above. I had a 94 single cab S-10 for my very first vehicle. Unfortunately, I couldnt get it as loud as I wanted, because I didnt know as much about car audio as I do now. My first setup was 2 12" Sony Xplod's. I then went to one Kicker L710 in a very large ridiculous looking box with no leg room.

Then I listened to my friends' single cab S-10. That thing was insane. I thought he had a blow-thru, but he actually had two JL Audio 10W0's on a Jensen amp. I couldn't believe it. Lower level JL subs and 10's and then to top it all off, a Jensen amp. I was beyond impressed.

So my conclusion with s-10's are... They can get loud, just dont over do it. Make sure to get some subs that meet the box requirements. Too many people think that you have to go big (big magnet size, big power, etc..) in order to get loud. Not the case with S-10's.
