Box design advice

Hope you guys can help me out here. I just got a excursion and want to a sub or two. Option are single 15" TC Sound 5200, 18" TC Sounds 5400 or 2 18" TC Sounds 5400. The max dem I have are 52W X 25H X 16 D might be able to push it to 18. 48W makes more sense but trying to as much airspace. Amp for now is a American bass 500.1.

I'm not seeing 2 of those 18's fitting well

At around 11 before any displacement

Unless you can do external port and reverse mount the subs I would do 1 18

Or as stated wall it with 4

The tc drivers have pretty soft spiders. Ive seen um do nicely in 4.5 to 5. Granted they really favor passive radiator designs..

idk man. CSCstang made a killer ported box for two of them. hairtricking on 400 watts total off a pure audio 4 channel lmao. Sound quality was amazing too tuned to 28hz

They can do nicely ported. No doubt. Transmissionline is perfect for um
