Box design 2-15 L7's

Hey Can anyone shoot me a box design for two 15 L7's with a slot port at 34hz...

Willing to pay for the design.

Space is a bit limited here for 2 15's. You'll probably be better off with just a single 15 L7 or see if you can get more room to work with.

how much more room do you think I believe i can go deeper and higher. but Width has to stay the same

Right now you have about 6.5 cf gross, I would probably shoot for at least 4 cf per sub, plus the port will take up at least 1 cf.

Its a 2002 Montero sport...As for Power Not quite sure yet most likley 1000 watts a peice Ive been Looking for an amp... Isnt 6.5 cubes enought the min. rating for a vented box is 3 cubes per sub right?

Yes, but you still need to factor in the port displacement, driver displacement, and I would want double baffles for 2 L7 15s which further cuts out the net volume. If you can go a little bigger it would be best.

I understand...So how much more space would you say because I can go deeper. Would that be possible and maybe an inch or so higher

you need at least 9 cubes gross to give you enough volume for the minimum recc. if you need to calculate the volume go here http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp#frac

you need dimms of 37x28x18 to give you about 9 cubes gross with .75 mdf you can give it different depth and height if you need to switch those around hope this helps

^^^ and all that will only come out to 6 cubes with a slot port at 35 hz

Just did some quick calcs for you:

37 x 28 x 17.25

will allow you to do a double baffled 6 cf box with a 105 sq. in. port tuned to 36 hz, assuming about .15 cf per sub. I don't have any experience with L7's so I don't know how it will sound but this falls within Kicker's minimum size recommendations with ample port area and tuning suitable for a daily driver.

Will That be easy for a first timer to do?I work well with tools and wood and have all the neccesitys but would it be a chalenge?
