Personally, I would double-up the 3/4" on the baffle at least...if not the whole box. Even running ~750-watts to (2) 12's, I like to at least double up the baffle. Even then you can feel a lot of flex in the box. Some sub manufactures recommend 1" MDF or 2 layers of 3/4" on all sides. Baltic Birch is the way to go if you can find a supplier and have the $$. True Baltic Birch is probably the best material for a box going into a car.
