2 15" aq hdc3

I couldn't find any information related to recommend box specs for the the HDC3's on AQ website, neither did any info come with my purchase. But I've recently purchased a custom box locally from someone who didnt have any familiarity with AQ. Since my resources are limited here in Richmond, Va. So without any information and based on the design of the sub the local shop constructed a Ported box of 35" Width 24" Deep 17" Tall. Is this box too small for 2 15" HDC3's?

its probably not going to damage the subs, just wont sound like it could in a better box.

i think aq rec. 3.5-4.5 cuft per 15.

Way too small for your subs. It's about 6.76ft^3 before sub and port displacement, so you're looking at around 5.25-5.5ft^3 depending on the port displacement...that's insanely small for HDC's. Something like 8ft^3 tuned to 35hz will do you well.
