Box building: share your secrets

I have to go home this weekend for surgery on my hand (saved a dog from a 16 wheeler:naughty: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) and thought that I'd build my box while I was at home.

Besides the basics such as using MDF, woodglue, predrilling, etc. Are there any other box buildling basics/secrets you guys have? I built a box once and it turned out fine, ended up not using screws. Just wanted to know if there was anything else I should look out for?

x2, 2 90 degree corner clamps and 2 36 in bar clamps. Clamps is highly highly recommended!!!

take your time. mesure like 10 times cut once. get lots of clamps. and some corner clamps used for picture frame making are the best. dont go crazy with the glue, if using screws predrill everything.

Take your time. Make sure you predrill if you want to prevent the MDF from splitting.

silicone sealant works better and dries faster.
